It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother

and great great grandmother Mildred Lolita Gaskin-Harris, the Matriarch of our family.

Mildred was born in Waterford St Michael Barbados where she grew up. She later Married her first husband Darnley Worrell and had two children Douglas Gaskin and Sandra Worrell-Baksh.

In 1955 Mildred Left Barbados and migrated to Scotland where she lived and worked for a few years before moving to Manchester England. She then met Cecil Harris and together they had three children Jennifer, Mark and William Harris. In1968 Mildred and Cecil Harris moved from England to Winnipeg, Manitoba where they had their last child Sherryl Harris.

Mildred called Winnipeg home and devoted her life to helping others as a nurses assistant for 30 years before moving and settling in British Columbia. She will always be remembered as a prayer warrior with faith that could move mountains. She was so full of life and had a wonderful sense of humour that would make her family laugh every time.

Mum you are now in the presence of your Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, free of any pain and suffering. Trusting you are rejoicing and praising god as you always have.
