Rudi Ludwig Tietzmann

Rudi Ludwig Tietzmann, passed away peacefully in his sleep October 17, 2023 in Surrey, BC

Predeceased by his wife Ida Krentz Tietzmann (December 31, 2011) and sister Doris of Germany. He is survived by his loving son’s Bernd (Joan), Gary (Debbie) and grand children, Clayton (Ashley), Kristin, John (Vanessa), Audra and Kellen. Along with 5  great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank Chartwell Crescent Gardens for their care and support. There will be a Celebration of life determined at a later date.

Donations can be made to the Canadian Alzheimer’s Society or Canadian Cancer Society in lieu of flowers.

When I come to the end of the road

And the sun has set for me

I want no rites in a gloom filled room

Why cry for a soul set free!

And not with your head bowed low

For this journey we all must take 

And each must go alone

It’s all part of the master plan

A step one the road to home

When you are lonely and sick at heart
