David Hall, known to his friends as 'Super Dave', passed away peacefully with loved ones nearby on September 7th.
Born in Vancouver, he graduated in 1970 from Sir Winston Churchill. After receiving his Red Seal as an Automotive Repair Mechanic in 1977, he worked as a heavy duty mechanic for nearly 40 years working mainly on forklifts. He belonged to Operating Engineers 115 for his entire career. He had a passion for cars and built his own red 1970 Chevy Nova SS race-car and competed in many NHRA stock/superstock races at Mission Raceway and beyond.
He is survived by his wife Cheryl, his daughters Rhoda & Rachelle, grandchildren Jesse, Alex, Piper and Heidi, and by his brother Wilf. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Canadian Mesothelioma Foundation or Canadian Cancer Society. A Memorial will be held early next year.
