Shannon Roy Reid, 56, passed away on February 20th, 2024, in Mission, BC.

Son of George and Madeline Reid, he was born November 24th, 1967, in Prince George, BC. Shannon worked from the oil fields in Fort McMurray, to hauling across the country, to his latest and most loved job that included clearing the runways at the Vancouver Airport.

Shannon had many great joys in life, he was so proud of his family and was always available to give great advice in times of need. He loved his Dodge Ram so much he practically considered it family, his Harley coming in to a close second, and of course his Ninja Foodie. He lived life to its fullest, worked hard and enjoyed his free time with those that made him laugh.

Shannon is survived by his children, Thrawn, Brandon (Heidi), Danielle (Ty); stepchildren, Alix (Mikey), Katie (Cameron), Michael (Ali); his grandchildren, Luke, and Remi; and step-grandchildren, Jaxen, Silas, and Laken. He is also survived by brothers and sisters, Lisa (Russell), Sherrl-Lea (Richard), Darrl, Tracey, Shane, Troy, Priscilla, Jessie, Dean, Blaine, and Charleen; along with his nephews and nieces, Shane (Vanessa), Kris (Tyleen), Megan (Mitch), Ryan, Codie (Kimberly), Erin (Dan, Robbie, and Leo), Sarah, and others. He is also survived by his parents, George, and Madeline; and all those who have ever had the chance to meet and hear Shannon’s laugh.

A celebration of life will be held Friday, March 8th, 2024, at Copper Hall, in Mission, at noon. We invite you all to share pictures and memories. Shannon was a deeply beloved father, uncle, cousin, brother, and friend, and it was his wish that we laugh, reminisce, and smile together during this time.
